Hours: Spring and Summer hours are 9am-5pm seven days/week. Winter hours are 9am-4pm daily. Closed Christmas day.
Cost: March through May rates: $15 for adults 12-64; $12 for children 3-11; $12 for seniors 65 and up. June through December rates: $12 for adults 12-64; $9 for children 3-11; $9 for seniors 65 and up. Children under 3 and Dallas Zoological Society members are free. $8 per car parking fee.

With over 4,000 animals representing more than 330 species (not including invertebrates), the Dallas Zoo is home to creatures from around the world, including tigers, gorillas, chimpanzees, monkeys, elephants, giraffe, lion, cheetah, rhinos, Nile crocodiles, Aldabra and Galápagos tortoises, African penguins, eagles, cranes, snakes, insects, and much, much more.  It’s the only zoo in North America to feature elephants and giraffes in the same habitat, and the only zoo in Texas with koalas. Guests will enjoy interactive and exciting exhibits, which illustrate the animals’ natural habitats.  Families with younger children will enjoy the Lacerte Family Children’s Zoo, complete with wading stream and Travis and Zach’s Birds Landing, and the Endangered Species Carousel.  All ages will enjoy the Monorail Safari.
