When Tamar and Dana became moms, they found
a market full of “baby-friendly” products –
from gentle laundry detergent for babies’
clothes, to mild shampoo for babies’ hair.
But there was nothing specific for the very
items that babies put into their mouths each
day – their baby bottles, cups, and dishes.
The dish soap products they used left a
synthetic fragrance behind, and they were
always concerned about lingering suds. They
also soon noticed a persistent odor and film
on the bottles that conventional dish
liquids never fully removed. So they had an
idea. What if there was a
dish soap that could easily remove the
residue and odor from breast milk, formula,
and baby food? That was low foam and rinsed
easily? That was natural-based and
biodegradable? With the help and hard work
of several experienced pediatricians and a
team of seasoned chemists,
dapple dish liquid was born. We’re
